Medications for Bedwetting?

I am in the process of compiling some of list of different medications available for bed wetting. I have tried my share in my days, but I would be interested in hearing what other people have tried, and for what symptoms.

This is by no means intended to replace a proper diagnosis with a medical professional, but last time I went to see my urologist, they prescribed me something new to try. This was a medication which I’d never heard of before, and while it didn’t work as compared to what I normally use, it did remind me that it’s good to check in and see what else might be popping on the market given ongoing research.

I would love to hear from you, my long suffering reader, as to your experiences with medication, if you are willing to share. Please email me (bedwettingtraveller@gmail.com) to share.

Thanks and safe travels!

Details of Stay and Recommendation:

First of all, this is the first hotel that I’ve reviewed that is allegedly haunted! That’s right, this traditional coach in, with that old daub and wattle look, apparently has a history of the paranormal. It is over 600 years old, and in that time, a bunch of gory things must have occurred there. Paranormal websites claim that it is one of the “most haunted” sites in all of Norfolk and the UK. I’m sure a bunch of places make this claim, but none the less, it was pretty cool staying in such an old hotel.

I travelled through Thetford while on vacation, and picked this hotel mostly for the look and age of the place. I only stayed three nights, and then carried on my way. One would think that in 600 years of existence, the hotel might have encountered the odd bed wetter or two (or given statistics probably tens of thousands).

In advance of my trip, shorter notice than usual (1 week), I emailed to ask about waterproof mattress covers. Unfortunately I had not heard from them by the time I arrived, and due to a number of circumstances I opted to simply take my own measures rather than ask housekeeping a second time.

The good news with my stay was that while I wet the bed on one of the three nights, my night time protection did its job, and kept my bedding dry. Maybe one of the ghosts had my back?

Overall it was pretty cool to stay in such an old place, but its service does not compare to more modern hotels. Is it still worth it? I’d say go for it, but bring your thicker night time protection, just in case you do see one of their fabled ghosts.
